The Fox Valley Libertarian Party managed to get a letter into the Chicago Sun-Times pointing out subsidies that are being funneled to a private club known as the Anvil Club of East Dundee.
Through a “village façade program” and sales tax rebates, the club is seeking a whopping $300K in aid from the village of East Dundee.
The Fox Valley Libertarians will be visiting the club (which is no longer fully private) and informing customers about the inappropriate cost to the taxpayers.
