Utah election officials say the Independent American Party petition has enough valid signatures, so that group is now a ballot-qualified party. It joins the Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, and Constitution Parties on the Utah ballot.
Although the Green Party and the Justice Party qualified for Utah status in 2012, neither of them polled enough votes in 2012 to remain on the ballot, and neither of them petitioned for 2014. The deadline has now passed for party petitions. Thanks to Cody Quirk for the news.
In fact our affiliate in Arizona is also on the ballot there and your party is not.
So again, maybe you should join with us instead, Bob.
Actually the Utah Constitution Party should join with us instead, same with the New Mexico CP, which doesn’t have ballot access and yet our state affiliate there does.
The CP is dying nationally while the National IAP is on the move.
It would be better if they joined with the larger and more established Constitution Party in Utah instead of dividing the conservative vote and helping elect the GOP, Inc. Not a smart move .

They have ballot access in 3 states (sorry, I’m not counting Arizona). They ran a Presidential candidate & a U.S. Senate candidate in 2012. So yes, they do freaking exist, and they’re growing.

Haha, God bless you Cody, but we all know this “party” doesn’t even exist.
They don’t have websites up yet, and it’s just a single contact, or a few people in some, yet we are trying to build up further in those states.

Besides the 4 states that we have ballot access in, we are active in Idaho, California, Kansas, West Virginia, and a few others. We are indeed growing and expanding.
How many states have active IAP groups?
Looks like the perception that we’re a insignificant third party that’s barely active, has ‘incompetent’ leaders, and gets nothing accomplished- just got blown out of the water 😉
Outstanding for the IAP, time to give America another choice in their futures. Our two party system is broken. It is so broken and corrupt, that a new approach based on true Constitutional disciplines is required. I wish them much luck…..
