Jonathan Jaech in Libertarian bid for California Attorney General

The Libertarian Party of California has qualified Jonathan Jaech as a candidate for Attorney General in the June 3rd primary election. Mr Jaech is an attorney in practice in Los Angeles, a partner @ Novak Druce Connolly Bove & Quigg LLP.

Mr Jaech is running on the common sense notion that police resources should be devoted to protecting life and property, rather than enforcing laws against crimes without victims. He proposes to protect the citizens of California who are engaged in peacefully working to supply the needs of voluntary customers, including cannabis farmers, raw milk suppliers, producers of ntutrional supplements and others that have been subject to overregulation and harassment by overreaching government.

By refusing to enforce laws where there is no victim, scarce public resources can be focused on preventing or punishing violent crime, theft and other property crimes, and fraud.

Mr Jaech suggests that the solution to prison overcrowding is early release of people imprisoned for producing or selling marijuana, or violating other victimless crime laws.

California voters can show support for a rational approach to maintaining public order by voting June 3 for Jonathan Jaech, Libertarian for Attorney-General. His campaign slogan is Freedom, Non-Aggression, Justice and his campaign website is @ http://www.newlibertyla.us/ Mr Jaech has a facebook page @ https://www.facebook.com/jjaech

A simple, sound philosophy. If he doesn’t win the primary or the election, I think he should run again.
