We think we’ve “successfully” moved IPR to its new server. We know it’s not perfect yet.
When we moved it, there was some unknown problem with the “theme” and we’ve temporarily implemented the Twenty Twelve theme instead.
It seems to be working now. Please post comments on this post if you see anything not working.
One of the big advantages of the new setup is that we can create a “staging” version of the site where we can play around and try to make it better without messing up the existing site.
If a volunteer (or valunteers) want to work on changing the theme or making this one better, please e-mail me – [email protected].
Thanks,
Warren

Chuck,
IPR also went down several days before the 2012 general election and stayed down through the election (if memory serves) (leading to my falling out with its former owners and “going Galt” here for a full year. It’s good to be back, and so far this upgrade has been relatively smooth. Give it another day or two please!
Joe
It’s unfortunate that IPR was made unusable so close to the Libertarian national convention. This reminds me of Third Party Watch being out of commission right before the 2008 convention.
If followed links are changed back to distinguishable from unfollowed links, someone email or call me please.
I prefer this theme. Clicked link text is much easier to read.
Looks like some plugins didn’t carry over. I reinstalled Jetpack and the sitemaps plugin. Not sure what’s missing.
Admin interface shows our spam protection is working and up to date.
The spam-finder doesn’t seem to be working. The messages in the folder were put there by me.
I suspect the uploads and themes have not been placed in the currect directory on the new server. I plan to work this tonight or tomorrow morning.
Steve
I’m able to log in and open posts for editing. Tried to update some of the links to photos from the media library, but it looks like we’re still in the process of moving those there?
Looking for a topic to write about so I can test my ability to post articles, but as far as I can tell everything else (except the media library images) is working. I assume the change in color for links will happen over time as well (Chuck’s concern above).
Joe
It’s very hard to tell whether links have been followed or not. That makes the site completely unusable for me, as 99% of my activity is looking at recent comments to see what I haven’t read yet.
This theme is very attractive.
