Libertarian Party of Kentucky holds convention, elects new officers

Hello everyone. I wanted to let you know the outcome of the LPKY State Convention yesterday.

We had 4 guest speakers. The ACLU of Kentucky, Take Back Kentucky (a paleo-con activist group), 2016 LP Presidential Candidate Dr. Feldman, and Brett Bittner from the LNC (Region 3 Alternate). They were all great speakers and people really enjoyed them.

We had a lot of business. We amended our constitution and platform. That stuff took about 8 hours in total. (Ugh)

And I did not seek re-election to State Chair. However, the State Party is left in very good hands. We elected the 4 Officers and filled a vacant At-Large position. Other positions are not up for re-election until next year. (We do 2-year terms.)

It’s been a pleasure to work with all of you. After a decade of being active, it’s time to take a break.

Ken was an excellent state chair and LSLA officer as well. His leadership helped build LPKY.
