Showtime to air John McAfee documentary, Saturday September 24

Tonight, Saturday, September 24, Showtime cable network will air a documentary on the life of John McAfee, inventor of McAfee antivirus software, and unsuccessful candidate for the Libertarian nomination for President in 2016.

Fortune magazine reports the …documentary about McAfee’s time in Belize alleges that he committed not one but two murders, and raped a Harvard biologist who was running a lab with him in the Central American country. The film, which premieres September 24 on Showtime, was originally shown at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. Called Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee, it paints a disturbing picture of a man gripped by both power and paranoia. And, quite literally, a man who got away with murder.

Mr McAfee has responded to Fortune with a four page rebuttal of the documentary, stating that he has been falsely accused by the press, and claiming that Showtime paid sources to speak in the documentary and make accusations against him.

Check your local listings for Showtime, if you are interested.

“I have a stock of anti-nausea medicine, so I am prepared.”

Always a prudent idea for such instances…

The Debate will be on all of the local channels, many cable channels and streaming on the computer so it will be like in 1984, you won’t be able to get away from it… Or for you older folks, like Max Hedroom.

In other television news, the debate featuring the bipartisan candidates for President will be televised on Monday, September 26.

The debate will be broadcast without commercial interruption. It will be like watching a horror movie on HBO – you know, the one where Freddy Krueger fights the Wicked Witch of the East for control of the nuclear codes.

I have a stock of anti-nausea medicine, so I am prepared.
