Jo Jorgensen: Campaign Update – April 29th, 2020

2020 Libertarian presidential candidate Jo Jorgensen put out the following statement yesterday to discuss her campaign happenings and pitch for campaign donations.

There’s a lot happening! Two debates last week, and two more this week. Plus my regular Friday night Ask Me Anything sessions, as well as a hosted event earlier this evening.

Of course the big news is that after months of teasing and indecision, Michigan Representative Justin Amash has finally joined the Libertarian Party and will be seeking the LP nomination for President. Welcome to the Party of Principle Justin!

My reaction is the lead in today’s article in Reason, and I’ve also released a statement urging Rep. Amash to immediately change his affiliation in the House from Independent to Libertarian. I look forward to facing off against Rep. Amash in future debates.

Speaking of debates, I will appear in a debate sponsored by Think Liberty Thursday night starting at 9 pm, as well as round 2 of the LPKY debate this Saturday starting at 8pm.

Earlier this evening, I spoke at a Zoom meeting hosted by the Wake County Libertarian Party. There probably will be a recording posted.

Recordings are available for Round 1 of the LPKY debate and the debate sponsored by Ask A Libertarian.

It’s less than a month until the scheduled start of the national convention, and we still need your financial support. $25 … $50 … $100 … $250 … whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated and used frugally. Thank you!
