Jim Hedges Provides an Update on Prohibition Party Ballot Access Efforts

Last week, Jim Hedges, the vice chairman of the Prohibition Party and the party’s 2016 presidential nominee provided the following update on the ballot access efforts for the party’s 2020 ticket of Phil Collins for President and Billy Joe Parker for Vice President:

We were notified today that Collins/Parker have qualified in Colorado.
Two days ago, we were notified that we have qualified in Vermont (first time since 1928).
We previously qualified in Arkansas and in Mississippi.
Tennessee is still in progress.
The last time we were “on” in as many as 5 states was 1984.  Last time we had 4 states was 1984.

Collins won the American Independent Party’s presidential primary in California this past March but is not expected to receive that party’s presidential nomination.

Woo Hoo! Go Drys! Vermont was a COVID gift and Colorado is somewhat but good job anyway.

Phil Collins favors prohibition? “It’s Coming in the Air Tonight!” “Oh Lawd!”

Of course, Phil Collins, as an Alamo memorabilia collector, could top Carry Nation’s hatchet with one of Jim Bowie’s knives, right?
