Earlier today, entertainer Kanye West, an independent candidate for president, urinated on a Grammy Award and posted a video of the act on his Twitter page. It has quickly become the most trending topic on the site.

West, nominee and founder of the Birthday Party, is on the ballot in Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Minnesota, Iowa, and Vermont.
West has attacked his record label for the terms of his contract and has taken socially conservative positions that contrast with the prevailing views within the music industry. In his musical career, West has won a total of 21 Grammy Awards.
Kanye West is also on my ballot in California, but apparently as a candidate for vice-president, on the ticket of Rocque de la Fuente. I’m wondering how common this is, of a candidate running simultaneously for different offices in different states, and POTUS and VP in particular.
