At Independent Political Report, we’re committed to promoting awareness of third party and independent news and providing a space for focused discussions. As part of this mission, our editorial team hosts a monthly open thread. This article thread is a place for readers to share news, opinions, and stories about third parties, independent candidates, and ballot access news that may not be covered elsewhere.

Our editorial team members reserve the right to remove content they deem as spam or unrelated to the ongoing conversation. You can always find a link to our policies in the footer of Independent Political Report. An updated, more focused policy is currently underway to better address reader questions and concerns.
