Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who endorsed Republican Donald Trump in key states after suspending his independent presidential campaign last month, urged his supporters in an email on Thursday to back Trump nationwide.
In the email, reported by the Washington Post, Kennedy asked his supporters to vote for Trump “no matter what state [they] live in.” This language marks a departure from his earlier statement, in which he pledged to remove his name from ballots in “about ten battleground states” to support Trump and block a potential victory by Kamala Harris, while remaining on the ballot in all other states where his campaign had secured access.
“No matter what state you live in, I urge you to vote for Donald Trump. The reason is that is the only way we can get me and everything I stand for into Washington D.C. and fulfill the mission that motivated my campaign,” the full text of the email reads.
Notably, this email appears to be the same one shared by Keith Thompson, an alternate member of the Libertarian National Committee, who pointed out that it also included a donation link to the Kennedy Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee between the Libertarian National Committee and Kennedy’s campaign.
This shift also signals that the Kennedy campaign is moving away from the idea of forming a new national third party, which was previously suggested by Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, during a podcast interview the week leading up to his suspension. In the interview, Shanahan revealed that the campaign had been debating whether to remain in the race to establish a new party—potentially qualifying for up to $13.5 million in federal matching funds if the ticket performed well—or to back Trump’s campaign.

Negative accusatory ways? You must have meant to address the lying dungfly – a nazi which falsely accuses RFK of attempting to sell his endorsement to the highest bidder in exchange for a cabinet position as a quid pro quo, which for two weeks falsely claimed RFK had dropped out of the race, and which spreads false rumors that RFK of cheating on his wife with his running mate…
Don’t kill the messengers? Besides the above lies about RFK, this antisemitic cockroach, projects its own nazism on me constantly, attacking me behind my back everywhere it crawls. That is not a messenger, that is the worst kind of liar. And in a civilized country like Russia or Israel, its slanderous lies and blood libel would have gotten it killed long since, to the greater glory of God.
Try to have a discussion? I tried twice @ https://independentpoliticalreport.com/2024/09/why-50-of-the-electorate-has-no-power-its-war-and-economy-stupid-rfk-is-off-the-texas-ballot/#comments – not to mentioned any previous time here on IPR.
The first time you refused to address any specific point, preferring to stick to insultingly vague generalized non-statements and to descend into your usual drivel of meaningless platitudes.
The second time you flat-out ignored me – which is much better: if you have nothing to contribute, then presume to.
For someone presuming to tell anyone else to “curb your negative accusatory ways and have a discussion” and “be direct but be nice”, you have proved very unwilling – or perhaps unable – to do either of those things yourself.
So today, I ask YOU to look in the mirror and think about how your lack of humility and kindness has contributed and continues to contribute to the once great United States of America having turned into a fascist shit hole in which nazi dungflies are allowed to lie and defame, to slander and libel, to foment antisemitism and russophobia, with gay abandon. Have a good long think about that, and don’t even bother coming back until you are ready to apply your own words to yourself.
Nuna, don’t kill the messengers. Try to curb your negative accusatory ways and have a discussion. You seem to have a level head otherwise and I like your comment on Sept 6 where you talk about “ruining any chance” of a “big-tent anti-duopoly.”
Some of the people who wrecked RFK’s ballot access drive — from the inside of his operation — have sought to establish a new party operation that would surely fail. That’s actually good news to me.
Other sincere third-partyists, I hope, do take a look in the mirror about the lack of a coherent plan to build independent politics. My theory is we have mistakenly post-Perot’s Reform Party, been attempting to put the horse (a new party) before the cart (a mass base of, by and for the independent voters).
Be direct but be nice, please.
So, you admit that he did not withdraw on August 23rd, was not withdrawn for the past fortnight, and that you were indeed lying all the time… Your crow has begun to putrify, will you finally eat it?
So, he’s WITHDRAWN (except for not saying so legally until the third quarter is done, to suck on the FEC teat a bit longer).
Bother! Way to ensure that the We The People Party will die together with Kennedy’s political career. Even if they qualify for matching funds in spite of his current efforts to stop people voting for him, he has taken their reputation down with his own, thereby ruining any chance they might have had of being converted into a successful big-tent anti-duopoly party by anyone else.
