Constitution Party Introduces New Leadership Following Fall National Committee Meeting and Issues Conference

The Constitution Party recently introduced its new national leadership in a statement. The party elected a new chair, vice chair, treasurer, and secretary at its national convention this year in Utah, with their terms officially beginning last month.

“A new generation, elected at the National Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah earlier this year, officially takes the lead of the Constitution Party coming out of the Fall National Committee Meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina,” the party announced last week.

The Constitution National Committee met in Raleigh last month for its annual Fall National Committee Meeting and Issues Conference. The multi-day event featured speeches on the organization’s future direction from various figures, including the party’s 2024 presidential ticket of Randall Terry and Stephen Broden, who both served as keynote speakers. The meeting also marked the end of then-outgoing Chair Jim Clymer’s fourth term and the formal introduction of the party’s new national leadership to members.

Since that meeting, the party has published a detailed look at its new national officers. All four positions have changed, with the party now chaired by Justin Magill, an Army veteran and lawyer who previously served as an At-large member of the Executive Committee and as Northwest Regional Chair for the Constitution Party of Pennsylvania. The new National Vice Chair is Glen Miller, editor of “The Victory Report,” the monthly newsletter of the Howard Phillips Legacy Society, and another former At-large member of the Executive Committee.

Joining them are new National Secretary Megan Schmitt, a founder of the Constitution Party of New Hampshire and a state co-lead involved with the People’s Convoy to D.C. in 2022, and National Treasurer Donna LaClair, another co-founder of the New Hampshire affiliate and a local elected official and elections officer. Magill, Miller, and Schmitt were all elected at the national convention in April, while LaClair was appointed to the position by Clymer during the recent conference.

The party has also released an updated list of its Executive Committee, which includes four new regional chairs and co-chairs, as well as a single new At-large member. Four members—Kevin Hayes, Paul Venable, Janine Hansen, and Kirk Pearson—along with parliamentarian Wayne Zimmerschied, will remain in their current roles.
