Advertiser Brandon Rochon Joins Forward Party National Board

The Forward Party announced this week that Brandon Rochon has joined its national board of directors. Rochon is an advertising executive who has previously worked on major campaigns for McDonald’s, PlayStation, Nissan, and other global brands.

In a statement on X made Wednesday, the party wrote, “Brandon is a powerful culture carrier and fresh voice helping to drive our mission and our reach to bigger places so that we can better do the critical work that needs to be done for our democracy.”

According to the Forward Party, Rochon has an extensive background in creative branding and marketing. He has held senior positions at global agencies, including TBWA/Paris and Ogilvy Paris, where he also worked on campaigns for Absolut Vodka, Heineken, Louis Vuitton, Ford, and Coca-Cola’s Coke Zero product launch. After returning to the United States, he served as senior vice president and global creative director at Samsung Electronics.

His biography on the party website also states that Rochon has received several major advertising awards and has been recognized as one of the youngest chief creative officers in the industry. The Forward Party states that he will contribute his branding and messaging background to support the organization’s overall efforts.

The addition of Rochon brings the Forward Party’s national board to eight members, not including its executive leadership and founding co-chairs.

They could have just signed a contract with him for his marketing services, but it appears his price for doing business with the party was a seat on the board.

It seems he’s just as interested in marketing himself as a brand as he is doing actual work for others.
