Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania Sets Date and Location for 2026 State Convention

The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania recently provided initial details of its 2026 annual convention, announcing online that it will host the event from March 20 to March 22 in Warminster.

The organization shared on social media this month that the convention will take place at the VFW Post 6493. While it didn’t provide any registration details, the party indicated that further information will soon be posted on its website.

“Join us for the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania’s 2026 Annual Convention,” event details state. “This event will feature dynamic speakers, important party business, and opportunities to connect with liberty-minded individuals from across the state.”

An agenda hasn’t been finalized, but state party bylaws distinguish between odd- and even-year conventions, with each year addressing specific types of party business. Even-year conventions, like this one, are designated for internal officer elections and the nomination of state and federal candidates. Platform discussions, bylaws changes, and other types of organizational business are otherwise reserved for odd-year events, though the party does allow for such items to be added to an even-year agenda under certain circumstances.

The party is also expected to elect its delegation to the Libertarian National Convention, scheduled for next May in Michigan. During the 2024 national convention, the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania was allocated 44 delegate seats.
