The American People want change. A synonym for change is revolution. That is clear. In 2008, look at where the $ went & to who. On the right, it came down to Ron Paul & John McCain. The counterrevolutionary v the reactionary. On the left, Obama v Clinton. Fake progressive/revolutionary v reactionary. A radical/revolutionary/progressive centrist party is not possible. However a radical/revolutionary/progressive third party is possible. However the progressive party is split AT ANARCHISM between left and right. Hence the leftist Green party and the rightist Libertarian party. The solution here is vote coordination by the GP & LP, NOT a new or revitalized Progressive party.

    Happy Easter everyone.

  9. Robert Milnes April 4, 2010

ok, let’s recap. no lessons learned from 2008. we proceed to fall into the same patterns. duverger’s law . Obma was set up long ago by the liberal democrats to win. didn’t ted kennedy’s endorsement seem kind of strange? why would a kennedy endorse this new & black guy? when poor but genuine progressive Gravel couldn’t compete, he fell back on a third party candidacy, but not Green. Libertarian. He clearly was trying to get in on the fundraising success of Ron Paul.Pul got The Libertarin Vote (Cato Institute) 13% & was determined to be NOT a libertarian, but a constitutional theocrat/dixiecrat conservative. Few realized or cared. The Ron Paul rEVOLution which was actually a counterrevolutionary phenomenon was the right counter-phenomenon to Obama’s left fake progressive. Both fundraising successes.Gravel/Ruwart was a possible fusion ticket which could have been a breakthrough but went virtually unrecognized. The rectionaries won the election again. Of course. Even though a progressive/libertarian vote bloc could have won at least a century ago- Teddy Roosevelt 1912. This also went virtually unrecognized. Now Paul is preparing to run again. CPAC is looming & going to usurp The Libertarian Vote thwarting any chance for a genuine progressive movement. The progressives are increasingly alienated from Obama but will wind up supporting him anyway. duverger’s law. An anomoly candidate, Milnes progressive, got nowhere in 2008 & continues to fail to get support/traction. Despite his political acumen about a possible successful progressive movement. Progressives & libertrians are headed for political defeat-again-in 2010. & that would set the stage for political defeat-again-in 2012. 100 years since TR came in second with the Progressive party. best result for any third party or independent in 100 years. No lessons learned.

New Green Party candidate for Governor in Tennessee..

Ballot Access News reports on Green Party tonight..

Green Party Has Candidate on Ballot for Tennessee Governor
    April 3rd, 2010
The Tennessee Green Party has placed Howard Switzer on the November 2010 ballot as an independent candidate for Governor. Tennessee has no other statewide races this year.

If the pending ballot access lawsuit wins, it is very likely the court will order that Switzer be put on the ballot as the Green Party nominee, instead of being labeled as an independent. The lawsuit was filed on January 23, 2008, in U.S. District Court. It has moved slowly, but all the evidence and the briefs have been submitted. The other two parties in the lawsuit, the Constitution and Libertarian Parties, have nominees for various district office this year on the ballot as independents, but they aren’t running anyone for Governor.

Will Firedoglake support Green Party candidates?
Posted by Dave Schwab at April 2nd, 2010 · 1 Comment
A provocative post at Firedoglake’s Seminal blog asking the question “Will FDL support Green Party candidates in 2010 and 2012?” has whipped up an energetic discussion.

Firedoglake is a popular political blog often cited for its principled progressive positions. A recent Green Party US press release on the recently-passed health care legislation quoted Firedoglake blogger Jane Hamsher’s opposition to the bill.

Will Milnes get free meds once Obamacare is fully implemented?

He could already get free meds if he wanted them now since he is on SSI/disability. At least I think that is the way it works.

Ron Paul reactionary/counterrevolutionary dinosaur fossil prick got 35 million in 2008. Bob Milnes-$0.00. What is the average $/post in IPR does that come to? Ron Pul is a money magnet so he definitely is going to run again. Why the hell NOT? & what percentage of that 35 million comes from IPR readers? & what percentage goes to GOP-NOT LP. Ron Paul as determined by Bob Milnes and Tom K. & Prof. Phillies is NOT a libertarian. So what? Who cares? Send $ anyway. Do NOT send $ to Bob Milnes or any radical/revolutionary/libertarian/Green. Because they are just a nuisance. & Ron Paul needs his Surf & Turf & caviar & limos. WE need Ron Paul to lead the RP/RP counter-rEVOLution. & we need to hear MORE from Rush & Bob Barr & W.A.R. because THEY atre THE FUTURE! & what a glorious future that is! Turn up Rush’s VOLUME! & Glen Beck too. & all the rest of the neocons & paleos because they speak volumes of complex ideas & political science theory. It is NOT all just a bunch of hot air! Words have consequences just like elections have consequences. So vote Reactionary! & Counterrevolutionary. & Pleo! You moron losers.

  27. Danny S April 2, 2010

Gratz to IPR! This is one of the websites I go to every day, and it is well worth it.
