2008 Vice Presidential Candidate Supports Rob McNealy for CD6
Aurora, CO – June 9th, 2010 – Rob McNealy, candidate for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District, is proud to announce that 2008 Libertarian Vice Presidential Candidate Wayne Allyn Root has officially endorsed him.
In his formal announcement, Root said, “There is a new face in Colorado politics and his name is Rob McNealy. Rob is a long time Coloradoan and already a successful businessman, husband, and father of four home-schooled children. Now, Rob is offering a much needed fresh perspective and vision for US Congressional District 6. Without a doubt he is the best choice for Colorado and that is why it is my distinct pleasure to offer my complete support for Rob McNealy for US Congress.”
McNealy noted: “This just reinforces that our underdog campaign is gaining momentum. I happily accept Wayne’s endorsement and look forward to leading the Libertarian Party to victory this fall.”

The Green candidate is Jerry Joslyn. I’ve spoken to him. Seems like a decent guy, not wacko.

No, I am not advising David to ask Wayne for an endorsement. I’m advising David to refrain from speculating that Root only endorses his supporters in the party until and unless there’s some evidence to make it more than speculation.
I’m hoping that David won’t have to run against McCain. Hayworth would be a much better opponent to have in the general election, as David would be one of the two “mainstream” candidates with the GOP being relegated to the “fringe.”

You should refuse such an endorsement if offered & ask for me &Tom to help you with your campaign against McCain. I’m not holding my breath waiting for that.

Huh? WTF? Are you stating that he will be elected ? I beg your pardon. I don’t think so. Does anybody reading this realistically think he will win? Go ahead & state so.
See what odds Wayne gives you if he’ll bet on it with HIS,REAL,money.
Rob is a good guy, and is running a heck of a campaign.
His stance is right on the money, he should be considered one of our “big dogs” this election cycle.
I hope he understands that we hope to grow the party a great deal over the next 2 years, we will probably be more helpful for his RE-election in 2012 ; )

Have you ASKED for an endorsement from Wayne? Asking is usually the first step in getting.
I think (don’t know for sure) that WAR is endorsing LP candidates that supported him in his bid for Chair, and no others. I could be wrong, but I’m not holding my breath for a WAR endorsement in my race against John McCain. Not that it will matter to anyone anyhow.
Libertarian figure endorses Libertarian nominee. Wow, that must really excite the news media (not!).
So? The Libertarian is going to lose. What difference does it make if Root endorses him? It certainly isn’t going to make him win!
