If there are any recommendations for any of these candidates, please feel free to post them in the comments here. If anyone submitted an actual statement like the ones we’ve posted for Chuck Moulton, Gary Johnson of Texas, David Blau or Alicia Mattson, please email it to me at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to post it as an article.

    @5 I started an internet search. It rapidly became apparent that without knowing even which state these people were from that finding the right person was only sometimes possible.

    @ # 4.
    You would have a valid point.
    As an active state chair , I had less time (previous LNC term) to dedicate to Ohio LP because of all the LNC issues, not to mention keep a family and a day job.

    I’m sorry, but I really hope Chuck stays focused on Virginia and works local. The LNC is not working well and I think it would hurt Virginia to have Chuck’s skill set working on the national. I appreciate his ambition and I know he expects great things from himself, but he really should withdraw his name. The states need leadership and intelligence. Going to the LNC is not a “promotion” for anyone, in my opinion.

    Just my two cents.
