Darrell Castle on the Monsanto Protection Act

Darrell Castle was the 2008 Vice-Presidential Nominee of the Constitution Party and is a former Nation-Vice Chairman of the CP. In this video, he gives his opinion on the bill that recently passed both houses of Congress and was signed by President Obama, the Monsanto Protection Act.

    I don’t know that it’s necessarily pandering. He’s spending more time with Libertarians, so maybe he’s learned a thing or two.

    I like Castle. I agree with him on Monsanto, of course. And I’m probably joining the LP when I turn 18 next year, out of principle. I think the LP is a better reflection of my political beliefs, though I still like the CP a lot.

    Andy, one of our frequent commentators here on IPR, said that the only reason Castle is in the CP rather than the LP is because the CP is 100% pro-life and the LP isn’t. If that’s the case, I could definitively vote for Castle in 2016 for president if the LP candidate isn’t very good. I supported Gary Johnson in the general in 2012, but I’m not sure I’d want to do it again. He’d have to pander even harder to us Ron Paul people to earn my vote. lol
