PR: Disability Party Wants Tax Credits for Access Easier to Use

Disability Party leader attorney Andrew Straw today announced the Disability Party’s position on federal tax assistance to businesses for disability access and removing barriers. $5,000 pre-loaded on credit cards each year can make improvements more likely.
“The federal tax code gives businesses money they can use to make themselves more accessible,” Straw said. “The problem is not being compensated until tax time.”
“The Disability Party wants the government to provide pre-loaded credit cards. This will make it very easy to pay for access improvements,” Straw said. “The credit cards should have a flat $5,000 tax credit for businesses to use, recharged each year.”
“Making the cards the means to buy improvements helps ensure integrity, as the IRS can check what is purchased online,” Straw said. “So, the credit cards will provide immediate access to funds for businesses to become accessible. They also reduce tax fraud.”

Sorry if I’m dense, but I don’t know what you mean by “26 USC 44” and “26 USC 190”. Are these the laws?
Also, I’m glad that Andrew is recognizing that tax credits alone are not sufficient cash flow for a business owner to make expensive repairs. Putting money on a pre-loaded card is a good idea, although I don’t think there’s much chance of that happening.
