Mississippi, Maryland and NC LP state conventions this weekend

MS, MD and NC Libertarians are having their state conventions this weekend. If anyone in any of these states is able to provide live updates please do so in the comments here. Please also post links to any twitter feeds, photos, videos, livestreams, blogging or news coverage elsewhere, etc., in the comments. I will be reporting from Mississippi, where I am right now.

    Motion to suspend 60 day rule for new members voting

    Passes with 11; now 31 credentialed delegates

    Bedwell: first Mississippi LP convention he went to had 3 people at a public library in Jackson

    Last report I saw had 86 people registered for this convention and going for 100 so most of them must not be here yet

    MS has 7 delegates to national convention and 92 national LP members

    Forming county affiliates …currently have district reps

    Bedwell stepping down as chair to focus on US House race

    Wants to be bylaws committee chair and start PACs

    Sec/Treasurer report – Melissa? – About 2-3k in one account and 2k in the other as of end of last year

    Membership report – looking for monthly pledgers and state members. Currently 14 monthly pledgers
