The term genocide was coined by Raphael Lemkin, a Polish-Jewsish lawyer in 1944. The term describes an attempt to eliminate a people group through mass murder. In 1944 that meant to describe Nazi atrocities. The term comes from the Greek, “genos” for tribe and the Latin suffix, “cide” to murder. The term was used in the Nuremberg Trials. As a teenager Mr. Lemkin was shocked when he learned of Armenians being murdered at the hands of “the Turks.” In 1948, Mr. Lemkin referred to “the Armenian Genocide” as the world’s first modern genocide. So while the term was retro-dated, who were the victims and who were their murderers?
After the Ottoman Empire lost the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-78, Christian groups wanted to be free from Islamic persecution. The Ottoman Sultans viewed such aspirations as a threat, and as such, any Christian group that remained from previous conquest were slated for extermination. From 1894-1896, 300,000 Armenian Christians were massacred by the Ottoman government, and their Turkish and Kurdish neighbors. This was under the leadership of Sultan Abdul Hamid’s decree “not by reform, but by blood.”
In 1913 the Young Turks replaced the Sultan under slogan “Turkey for the Turks,” even though there was a time when there were no Turks in Asia Minor. These westernized Muslims didn’t bear down on murder and genocide, having embraced new technologies, they ramped the genocide up. Before the Nazi invented “the Jewish question” the Ottoman Turk invented “the Armenian question.”
It was decided that the answer to the Armenian Question was to dispose of the former Christian Kingdom by genocide. By the end of 1915, 800,000 Armenians were executed or starved to death, and 200,000 apostasized into Islam. 140,000 Assyrian, Syriac and Chaldean Christians were murdered. Survivors had to run a gauntlet of persecution at the hands of Persians and Kurds, before arriving at Hamadan, Persia in 1918. The Republic of Armenia was established in the aftermath of WWI, but the raids and persecution didn’t stop until the Republic was absorbed into the USSR. So, even Communism was less murderous than Islam.
“Ottoman Greek Christians” were described as the primary victims of the Turkey for Turks idea. No figures are available, as many escaped to Greece, or the Balkans. Many did not as the massacred at Smyrna in 1922 attests to.
The year 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocid. April 24th marks the day that the westernized Young Turks murdered intellectuals and leaders in an effort to annihilate the Armenian people. Christians are less than 1% of the population of Turkey today, and are still persecuted. Turkey is unrepentant to this day. Why? Because they were following the will of Allah as expressed in the Quran. They weren’t “bad Muslims” they were “good Muslims.” What we call genocide is what the Muslim calls Jihad. The Armenian Genocide is not merely an act of terrorism, it was an Islamic Act. It is time to imagine a World without Islam. It is time to embrace Public Order # 1, “Islam is henceforth abolished.”

In other news, to terrestrially bound creatures in this part of the world, the sun seems to be coming up.
Agreed. And Hood is painting with too broad a brush.
All major religions, as well as atheist Marxists, have committed genocide.
Excerpted from the Book of Numbers, 31:7-18
They fought against Midian, as the Lord commanded Moses, and killed every man. … The Israelites captured the Midianite women and children and took all the Midianite herds, flocks and goods as plunder. They burned all the towns where the Midianites had settled, as well as all their camps. They took all the plunder and spoils, including the people and animals, and brought the captives, spoils and plunder to Moses and Eleazar the priest and the Israelite assembly at their camp on the plains of Moab, by the Jordan across from Jericho….
Moses was angry with the officers of the army — the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds — who returned from the battle. “Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the Lord in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people. Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.”
Note: The Midianites were guilty not of attacking Israel, but of “enticing” them away from God (i.e., being nice to the Israelites, causing some of them to intermarry with Midiantes and worship their pagan gods.)
Nothing about the Belgian Congo, eh?
This guy is no supporter of the U.S. Constitution.
Good thing Christians and Jews have never murdered people en masse.
That is one long press release.
Seriously ,we need bumper stickers, posters that
“GENOCIDE IS AN ISLAMIC ACT”
Apparently the Constitution Party is completely ignorant of both North American and European colonial history. Small Pox blankets? The Nama and Herero Genocide by Germans in (now) Namibia? Nope. Never heard of them. A chance to bash Muslims? They’ll take it.
