Finally, Grabau wrote:
I just sent the guy who took all the video footage we have a message, I will let you know what I heard back from him. There were no bylaws, constitution, or platform changes.
Outgoing state chair Jeff Orrok adds:
Fellow state chairs,
Yesterday at the Colorado state convention, I was succeeded by Lily Williams, one of our 2014 candidates for state legislature.
It has been an honor to serve the party in the capacity of state chair, and I look forward to continuing my service in other capacities.
So long, and thanks for all the fish!Jeff Orrok
Former State Chair, Libertarian Party of Colorado
And from incoming chair Lily Tang Williams:
I am honored to serve as the new state chair of the Libertarian Party of Colorado. I hope to meet you in the near future in person.
Jeff has been my Libertarian mentor and friend for many years. He has given so much to our party and the cause for liberty. I am very grateful for what he did and what he is still doing to help us to grow and organize. I am very proud to have him continuing to be my mentor, adviser and friend.
Please stay in touch.
Best regards,
Lily Tang Williams
That’s all I have at the moment. Anyone who would like to provide additional first hand accounts, links to videos or blog or news coverage elsewhere, links to more photos, etc., from the LPCO 2015 convention is welcome and encouraged to do so in the comments.

Oh, and the latter part of my surname is Provines, not Provinces… common mistake. 🙂
Just a bit of a correction — Alan Scott, as listed above in the photos, is actually Alan Hayman. He goes by Alan Scott on Facebook. I am looking forward to working with the rest of the LPCO Board of Directors over this next term. Congratulations to the newly-elected!
There are many reasons for LP candidates to run for both winnable as well as far less winnable offices. I’d go into a long explanation but I’m tired, have other things to do, and have gone into it before.
Congratulations to Lily and the Colorado LP, and best wishes on a productive term.
Lily may be somewhat intelligent, I don’t know her. Here’s what I do know:
There are no prizes for 2nd place in politics. There are no prizes for 3rd place in politics. Those who run for congress as Libertarians when there have been no significant elected libertarian State Legislators since 1982 are delusional. (No, the 4/400 in NH in 2000 don’t count. That’s 1%. The establishment has to fear us. They cannot fear us if we display the fact that simple percentages are a mystery to us.)
Colorado House of Representatives, District 44, General Election, 2014
Party Candidate Vote % Votes
Republican Jack Hilbert 63.6% 20,719
Democratic Karen Jae Smith 30% 9,760
Libertarian Lily Williams 6.4% 2,076
Total Votes 32,555
Lily is an excellent choice, I’m very happy for her. I’m sure we can continue to expect good things from Colorado.
