Green Party’s Jill Stein Confirmed as Panelist at Libertarian Party of California State Convention

Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein is the latest addition to a growing panel of candidates set to speak at the Libertarian Party of California’s 2024 State Convention scheduled for later this February. Stein joins Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Cornel West, who were announced as panelists last month.

According to a press release issued by the Libertarian Party of California on Wednesday, Jill Stein is set to participate in the convention’s first discussion panel scheduled for Saturday. She will join Libertarian Party candidates Mike ter Maat and Michael Rectenwald, along with independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“We are excited to host Dr. Stein and Mr. Kennedy. Events showcasing real, open conversations between individuals who share views outside of what the regime considers allowable opinion are almost non-existent, which is why we’re proud to host this uncensored panel where we have the opportunity to promote libertarianism on the biggest stage we have had in some time,” Libertarian Party of California Chair Adrian Malagon said. Readers can view the full release here.

The Libertarian Party of California has previously emphasized that the participation of candidates from outside the party provides its own candidates with an opportunity for dialogue they may not otherwise have.

A second panel is scheduled for the following evening, featuring Libertarian Party candidates Jacob Hornberger, Charles Ballay, and Lars Mapstead, along with independent candidate Cornel West. Additionally, several other additions have been made to the weekend’s agenda since the last panelist announcement. Readers can access the full schedule of events here.
