Green Party of Colorado to Host “People, Planet, and Peace” Rally with Jill Stein in Denver

The Green Party of Colorado will host a campaign rally in Denver this Saturday alongside Green Party presidential nominee Dr. Jill Stein. According to the party, the event will be open to the public and offer Coloradans an opportunity to hear directly from Stein.

In a press release, the Green Party of Colorado announced that its Rally for People, Planet, and Peace will take place at Denver’s Mercury Cafe. The rally will be led by Stein and members of her campaign team, who are expected to discuss key topics central to her campaign, including climate change, healthcare accessibility, and foreign policy, among other issues. “Dr. Stein plans to address critical issues important to Colorado such as ending the endless wars and genocide, promoting truly pro-democracy policies, tackling climate change, healthcare for all, and addressing income inequality,” the release further states.

Additional commentary on the Green Party of Colorado’s website suggests that the event will include special guest speakers. However, no new speakers have been announced by the party as of Monday afternoon.

The Rally for People, Planet, and Peace will officially begin at 12:00 PM MDT. No minimum contribution is required to attend; however, organizers are asking attendees to RSVP ahead of time. The full press release shared with Independent Political Report is available below:

    It might be less than 6, there is no transparency in many states about the primaries and caucuses and she first tried to rig the election for Brother West and then herself by not letting other candidates having the same access as herself. She is not interesting in building a party by the grassroots nor democracy. Go to Denver Green Party Facebook page, its similar to the Repugs talking points.

    Realistically, in Colorado, the Greens are only in Boulder and Denver and are a distant #4 party.
