Root endorses Internet marketing tool

A news release from CarbonCopyPRO says Wayne Allyn Root has endorsed the product, which the makers call “the premier internet marketing system and entrepreneurial education platform. In a recent interview with CarbonCopyPRO Senior Vice President Andrew Cass, the bestselling author, and media icon talked about how CarbonCopyPRO supports his personal commitment to entrepreneurship as a way to not only counteract the forces of the recession, but as a means to personal long term financial prosperity.” The release says that “as the Libertarian Party candidate for U.S. President in 2012, Root’s endorsement of the CarbonCopyPRO business model is noteworthy.”

He has a very nice wife with his wonderful wife

    Polygamy ftw!

(I know, typo, still funny tho)

Wayne gets no value from his so called “LP fame” in the business or book selling world.

He does what he does in his personal, business and political life because he believes it the right thing to do, period.

Wayne is a ‘heart on sleeve’ kind of guy, and frankly that’s been a big complaint in the world of Wayne Root detractors, that his is so straightforward.

Certainly Wayne could have sold a lot more books as a Republican, so if it was all about money and fame as some here are postulating, he would have NEVER joined the LP.

Heck, most people in Wayne’s position just might retire. He has a very nice wife with his wonderful wife and four children.

Or maybe that’s the strategy from the ‘radicals’?
Just be rude enough and Wayne will go away…

Certainly that’s worked for several decades.

    Pettiness and jealousy…

Looks like Root is milking his “LP fame” (such as it is) for as much money as he can.

I’d been saying since 2007 that Root would leverage his LP nomination (if he got it) for book deals, and TV and radio hosting jobs.

I’d thought he was trying to move up to a classier gig, from informercial huckster to political pundit.

I guess I was wrong on that score. It seems Root wants to maximize the “wealth builder” potential of being an LP candidate, tapping into every potential revenue stream out there, high and low.

    Foxy Abe,

Root is a Jew running a scam.

    How is the truth anti-Semitic?

Dearie, a queen like me in this business doesn’t like the competition, and I’d rather have Root be my business bitch than my competition, because he’d look just awful in pump stilletos and his hair is just awful for a wig. And that face line? Not enough makeup in Hollywood to get that pretty, hotstuff. He would look just terrible in a dress, too, honey. Come on by and I’ll give you a makeover, on the house.

So unless his girlfriend is HOT like me, I’ve gotta do my part to kick his hetero ass to the curb, as cute as it may be. In my line of work, whoring in disguise, I don’t need the competition.

Wayne doesn’t look good in leather either, at least that’s what my last sub told me while I was flogging him. That poor CPA, all stuck in the business suit world, all repressed. Same as Root, too.

Toodles, gents. I’ve got plenty on my plate today and most of it is just yummy!

This article is anti-Semitic. It implies this Root guy is some Jew running a scam.

I know a little about legit “internet marketing.” It’s how I eat. This sounds like shit.

    David,

As far as I know, Root doesn’t own CarbonCopyPro. It was founded by Jay Kubassek.

    Everlyn,

    You write:

“what does the Carbon Copy Pro really do?”

A charitable way of describing it is that it “pre-qualifies prospects for another program.”

A more accurate way of describing it is that it’s a scheme for getting people to throw good money after bad.

CarbonCopyPro is a “funnel” scheme for one of the other cons Root promotes, Wealth Masters International.

The WMI folks aim high: Prices on their “product” (a series of lectures/pep talks on how to make money hawking multi-level marketing lectures/pep talks) start at several hundred dollars and run into the thousands.

It only costs $50 to get into CarbonCopyPro. What the customer gets for the $50 is a series of lectures/pep talks on how what he really needs to do is go a few hundred or thousand dollars more to buy into WMI.

From a con artis … er, marketer’s … point of view, CCP has three advantages:

    – It generates an immediate, if not huge, commission on the $50 sale.

    – It pre-qualifies WMI prospects. People who can’t or won’t spend $50 on CCP sure as hell can’t or won’t spend hundreds or thousands on WMI.

    – It represents an investment on the mark’s part.

You know how some people lose at gambling, and just keep betting until they’re out of money, trying to “win back” what they’ve lost? A significant portion of the multi-level marketing set is the same way. If they’ve invested — even a measly $50 — in something, they’re hooked. They’ll keep pouring more money into it, trying to make it pay off.

It’s pretty much the same “business” approach that drove Wayne’s oddsmaking business — bring the suckers in with free or cheap picks, then milk them dry by selling them a continuing “club.” As he put it in the New York Times magazine, “I want high rollers who can afford to lose. … I don’t have any guilt. I think zero about why things are. I just accept what they are and find a way to take advantage of them.”

    Where are Root’s preseason picks?

  11. David F. Nolan August 13, 2009

I believe that Carbon Copy Pro is owned, directly or indirectly, by Mr.Root. So his “endorsement” is kind of meaningless. (Bruce Cohen will now jump in with a personal attack on me.)

  12. Evelyn Guzman August 13, 2009

Okay, you had me at Root’s endorsement, but what does the Carbon Copy Pro really do? I know from the article that it is a way to get to the financial prosperity and that it can counteract recession, but what does it look like and how does it do the aforementioned jobs?

    …internet marketing system…

Read carefully or do a google search.

What is the product? What is being marketed?

  14. ShamWow August 13, 2009

This sounds like a great product. What is the LP’s position on getting in fights with hookers? What if they bite?

  15. Thomas M. Sipos August 13, 2009

“as the Libertarian Party candidate for U.S. President in 2012, Root’s endorsement of the CarbonCopyPRO business model is noteworthy.”

Doesn’t he mean “as a Libertarian Party candidate”?
