John Murphy, an independent for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 16th district, has issued a press release condemning presidential candidate Barrack Obama’s “moving further right.” He says “Democrats continue to ape Republicans” and “both parties [are] owned and operated by U.S. corporations and [the] Israeli lobby.”
Below is the full text of the press release.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA – From the beginning of his campaign Obama has refused to differentiate himself from the Republican candidate. Like the Republican he opposes universal single-payer health care, which the overwhelming number of American people demand and he refuses to bring our troops home from Iraq. Obama continues to use the rhetoric of “change” but fails to indicate what change would occur if he became president. Just as there were no significant changes when the Democrat Congress replaced the Republican Congress, on Saturday Barack Obama further identified any future Democrat administration with past Republican administrations.
In speeches he gave in Florida he embraced the right wing position of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) with respect to Israel and took the same hard-line with respect to Cuba as the Bush administration. “AIPAC is the single greatest threat to peace in the Middle East and endangers American domestic and foreign interests” said Independent Congressional Candidate John Murphy. “AIPAC channels millions of dollars to both political parties and consequently the United States has continued to support the bloodthirsty and barbaric treatment of the Palestinians by the Zionist government in Israel. The Palestinians are being treated the same way the Nazis treated the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto” continued Murphy.
According to Murphy, “in 2006, 60% of the Democrat Party’s fundraising and 25% of the Republicans fundraising came from Jewish-funded Political Action Committees (PACS). This also helps explain why any anyone who criticizes the Zionist government in Israel is labeled an ‘anti-Semite’ unless they are Jewish, like the scholars Norman Finkelstein and Noam Chomsky who are labeled as ‘self hating Jews’ by the Zionists and neocons. Professor Norman Finkelstein was not only denied tenure because of his criticism of the Zionist government in Israel but was, just last week, denied the right to visit Israel. This is a man whose parents survived the Nazi concentration camps! No criticism of Israel is tolerated in the US media because of the power of AIPAC.
“Just as many people had hoped to see a change come about when the Democrat Party retook the Congress in 2006, so also many have placed their hopes in the false god of Barack Obama” Murphy said. While more and more Americans, especially Jewish Americans, are awakening to the dangers presented by the Israeli lobby, Obama, like McCain is ignoring the will of the American people in favor of the special interests which fund his campaign and the campaigns of hundreds of Democrat Congressmen. Obama now refuses to speak with Hamas, which the US press brands as a “terrorist organization” in the same fashion that it misled the American public about Iraq. Obama also refuses to speak to the Cuban government unless the exiles from 50 years ago have a seat at the table. Forty-nine years ago Cubans overthrew Baptista who was in league with the Mafia. McCain and now Obama still long for “the good old days”.
“With people like McCain and Obama as the choices presented to us by the two party dictatorship”, Murphy concluded, “it is easy to see why more and more people will be voting for Ralph Nader in 2008. One can only choose the perceived lesser of two evils, ethically, when there is no greater good to choose. To choose a candidate like Obama or McCain makes the voter complicit in the crimes against humanity these people are perpetrating. Americans must stop voting for the duopoly candidates. Insanity has been defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.

This guy isn’t running for president…
But if you want to help “give ’em hell” you can donate! Or at least become friends with him on Youtube (www.youtube.com/jandrewmurphy).
Steve Forbes? Well he was probably the best GOP when he ran for POTUS. It is hard however for a nerdy looking person to reach a majority.
Giv’em HELL ! They deserve it. “Empty Suit” B.O. and “InSANE McSame are DEFINITELY corporate puppets…
His photo makes him look a little bit like Steve Forbes.
The Libertarian Party of his county has endorsed him, though, along with the Reform Party and the Green Party.
Well, he certainly isn’t a Libertarian.
He belongs to the Green Party, but has to run as an independent in PA because of ballot access laws. He’s kind of socialist, kind of libertarian, kind of everything. It depends on the issue. Overall, I would simply call him an anti-corporatist.
So I take it this guy is Ron Paulian?
