According to a source on the LNC, Jim Casarjian-Perry has left the Libertarian Party and filed paper work to create the Freedom Party (correction: Liberty Party) of Massachusetts.
Mr. Casarjian-Perry had been active in collecting signatures to get the Barr/Root ticket on the ballot, as late as June 8. (This was a misread on the author’s part. Our apologies to Mr. Casarjian-Perry).
Earlier today, Mr. Casarjian-Perry posted a blog entry at his site calling Bob Barr a liar.
Buh-bye, Jim. Like Motel 6, we’ll keep the light on for ya.
Jake Featherson ruined the Freedom Party.
PEACE
Steve
Jake Featherston made the Freedom Party.
Why not just join the Boston Tea Party? Or that guy from New York’s Anarchy Party? Or the Constitution Party? Or…
This will dry up faster then my chances of ever getting married.
You’re too young to be drinking, Mike.
I think someone drugged my coffee. It shouldn’t be giving this vibe. Damned carnies!
I was walking away, and a guy who worked there said “If that doesn’t kick you in the ass, I don’t know what will.”
Everything is moving! The drive home was terrifying!
Hi there. The news is true that I am starting a new party, but it’s called The Liberty Party.
Also, if you look at the link that I am supposedly quoted as saying I was petitioning for Barr, you will notice I actually only said I was petitioning for Bob Underwood, the US Senate Candidate in MA.
I sent this to the editor, but he never corrected the post, so I am doing so now. Thanks for the clarification.
Mr. Casarjian-Perry – Sorry for the inaccuracies in this article. The first is attributable to our source, but the second is wholly mine. I misread and thus misreported. Bonehead error.
I did not receive a message from you asking for the article to be corrected. Where did you send the message?

Unless there is something I do not know, it’s the same petition, which currently lists Phillies as a stand-in for Barr and Underwood for Senate.
I guess LP National believes the state will cooperate with substituting Barr instead of Phillies since they have not switched out the petition.
I would like some contact information for Jim Perry, regarding the Liberty Party
