Oklahoma Ballot Access Bill Improves and Advances

Yesterday, the Oklahoma Senate Rules Committee passed HB 1072, a bill that would reduce the amount of signatures a new or previously unqualified party would need to get. Previously, the requirement was five percent of the past gubernatorial vote, but now it will be three percent.

    Glad to see progress in Oklahoma, arguably the most oppressive ballot access state in the union.
