The Charleston Gazette reports that Jesse Johnson has filed as the West Virginia Mountain Party (WV’s Green Party affiliate) candidate for the US Senate special election to fill the seat left by the late Robert Byrd. Johnson is a well-known campaigner against mountaintop removal and an experienced Mountain Party standard-bearer, having previously run for US Senate and twice for governor as the party’s nominee.
Wait, wait, wait, the more potential voters viewing Doctor ‘Smack Down’ Donald Grundmann’s nutty web sit the more sure his June demise at the polls!
Remember he had an unofficial year’s head start and the entire class needs to review the term ‘counter productive’ ……..
So the harder he campaigns in the state legislature district, the higher his percentage for Senate as well?
Johnson is also running for state legislature at the same time.
