Libertarians polling strong in Georgia, may force runoffs

According to a WXIA TV poll, the Georgia Libertarian candidate for governor, John Monds, is getting 9% of voter support. In three races (including the governor’s race), the poll indicates Libertarian candidates will hold the other candidates below 50%, requiring a runoff.

    Excellent! Keep it up, Monds!

    Forcing a run-off does almost nothing in terms of outcomes, but in terms of process it’s fantastic. The media can’t help but attribute this outlier event to the Ls, which means lots of coverage, sparking lots of interest.
