Former New York City Madam Kristin Davis, independent candidate for governor of New York, said today she would accept the apology of New York Post columnist John Podhoretz, who earlier in the week wrote that Davis was a “hooker.”

“Although I never worked as a call girl, I was held accountable for the crime of promoting prostitution,” said Davis ” I approached the escort business strictly as a business”

“I was sentenced to four months at Rikers Island and forfeited over $2 million in cash,” said Davis, who appeared at the televised debate with gubernatorial candidates Andrew Cuomo and Carl Paladino last Monday night. “I was subjected to solitary confinement, humiliation, and psycho-sexual torture at the filthy and squalid conditions at Rikers Island. I paid my debt to society.”

“We Americans believe in redemption and rehabilitation,” said Davis, 35, a former hedge fund vice president. ” I am no longer involved in any illegal business and have tried to use my notoriety as a positive force for issues I believe in.”

“In America, everyone gets a second chance after accepting punishment for a mistake,” said Davis, who is running for governor on a platform of personal and economic freedom. “Why do the Spitzers, Patersons, Rangels, Espadas, and Lopezs go unpunished? When will they be held accountable?,” asked Davis.

“Throughout this campaign, I have articulated and defended specific libertarian oriented public policy ideas including ending the prohibition on same-sex marriage, ending the prohibition on marijuana in order to regulate and tax it’s sale to generate new revenues and create jobs, and legalizing state licensed casinos in the Catskills to generate $2 billion in new state revenues and 25,000 new jobs,” said Davis.

“It is unfortunate that Mr. Podhoretz finds these proposals to be ‘comic relief’ as I think voters are ready for radical ideas to get New York State’s economy and job market moving again.” said the Ex-Madam ” Voters can send a message to the next Governor by voting for me.”

“Vote Homo-Not Cuomo”- to send a message.

Kristin Davis, the Independent candidate for Governor of New York who rocked the televised debate with her straight talk on Monday blasted the Obama administration today for moving in federal court to freeze a federal judge’s order to allow openly gay troops in the US Military.

“Why does the President say one thing and do another?” asked Davis who is running for governor as a proponent of Gay marriage. “It reminds me of New York Democrats who are only too happy to take Gay and lesbian campaign contributions but then fail to pass a gay marriage bill even though they are in the majority.”

“The President says he want to end don’t ask don’t tell and open military service to all Americans but then his Justice Department seeks to appeal a ruling that just that” said Davis “This reminds me of Andrew Cuomo who says he supports same-sex marriage but then won’t make any phone calls to lobby democrat senators when the bill is on the floor.”

“Barack Obama and Andrew Cuomo both need to walk the walk not just talk the talk,” said Davis. “A vote for me is a clear signal to Attorney General Cuomo that we will tolerate no delays or excuses if he is elected,” said Davis. “In other words- Vote Homo not Cuomo”

    Psycho sexual torture?

That does happen in jail. I don’t know what did and what didn’t happen to her in there, do you?

To those of you using the Bible as a weapon against homosexuality, you are wrong. Homosexuality is not a sin. The Bible is constantly being taken out of context to support anti-gay views. Scholars who have studied the Bible in context of the times and in relation to other passages have shown those passages (Leviticus, Corinthians, Romans, etc) have nothing to do with homosexuality. These passages often cherry-picked while ignoring the rest of the Bible. The sins theses passages are referring to are idolatry, Greek temple sex worship, prostitution, pederasty with teen boys, and rape, not homosexuality or two loving consenting adults.

Thats why Jesus never mentions it as well. There is nothing immoral, wrong, or sinful about being gay. Jesus, however, clearly states he HATES hypocrisy. If you preach goodness, then promote hate and twist the words of the Bible, you are a hypocrite, and will be judged and sent to hell. Homosexuals will not go to hell, hypocrites will.
