Ralph Davenport Scores 16.85% In Four-Way Race

Ralph Davenport is a former representative from South Carolina’s 37th District who ran again this year to reclaim his old seat. He ran as a Constitution Party candidate, facing opposition from the incumbent Republican, a challenging Democrat, and a Working Families Party candidate. With roughly 1,600 votes out of 9,496 total votes cast, Davenport scored 16.85% in the four way race. The incumbent Republican won with 56%. Delores Frazier, the Democratic and Working Families Party nominee, scored 27% between both lines.
