Write-in Candidate for Lt. Gov. of California Gains Endorsements

Karen England is a write-in candidate for Lt. Governor of California who is running against Republican Abel Maldonado and Democrat Gavin Newsom. It is widely believed that England is the “tea party” candidate for the office, but without any spot on the ballot, it is unlikely that she’ll be able to score more than a couple of percentage points. Still, she has recieved a wealth of endorsements. CAL YAF PAC sent along an email with the following endorsement:

CAL YAF PAC, a political action committee run by conservative youth under 30
years of age, released a youtube video urging Californians to sidestep the Democratic and Republican candidates for Lieutenant. Governor and support write-in Karen England. Again grab your pen and spell her name K A R E N   E N G L A N D for Lieutenant Governor.
Jordan Marks, CAL YAF PAC chairman, said “If you think about it, after years of troubles with the traditional balloting system, the only sure way to ensure the vote for your candidate of choice is to write them in.”  Marks continued, “Able Maldonado is a flip-flopping clown who has shown Californians that he is ready willing and Abel to support any and all tax hikes the three-ring circus in Sacramento throws at us.”
This is just one of many, though, England has garnered endorsements from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayer’s Association, Concerned Women for America’s Legislative Action Committee, State Senator Tim Leslie, and Gun Owners of California.
