Wrights to attend two Arizona libertarian events

BURNET, Texas (Jan. 26) – R. Lee Wrights, libertarian writer, activist and potential 2012 presidential candidate, will be a guest speaker at the Arizona State Libertarian Convention and attend the Nullify Now Conference in Phoenix Saturday, January 29.

The Arizona State Convention will be held from 9:15 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Aunt Chilada’s Restaurant, 7300 N. Dreamy Draw Drive. The Nullify Now Conference will be from 3-9 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, Phoenix Downtown, 340 N. 3rd St. Phoenix, Ariz.

Wrights is co-founder and president of the Foundation for a Free Society, one of the sponsors for the Nullify Now conference. The Foundation is an educational organization dedicated to promoting the principles of liberty, personal sovereignty, private property, and free markets in order to create a more free and prosperous society.

    I heard him speak once, and it was powerful. He has been on the national scene for a while at least. I also would like more exposure to him as he is seeking office and I do not know him well. I tend to vote for* the person I like the most and that means needing to know the them in context as best I can before I vote.

    *I don’t vote for strangers or “the other guy” I will choose NOTA or leave the slot blank before I go for the lesser of evils for instance.
