In Pennsylvania, the Wilkes-Barre Times-Leader notes Libertarian Tim Mullen’s run for Luzerne County Council

Wilkes-Barre Times-Leader via LP blog:

Seven more candidates have surfaced in the Luzerne County Council race, bringing the total number of contenders to 28 Democrats, 13 Republicans and one Libertarian.

Tim Mullen said he will run as a Libertarian.

Independent, Libertarian and other third-party candidates won’t be selected in the primaries but will be on the November ballot if they secure the necessary nominating signatures after the primaries.

Mullen, who ran against state Rep. Phyllis Mundy in November, will have to collect 995 signatures, said Lou Jasikoff, of the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania. More third-party candidates are expected to enter the race, Jasikoff said.
