John Jay Myers Runs for U.S. Senate

Dallas, TX – John Jay Myers, local business owner and tireless freedom activist, is running for United States Senate, and he has filed his application for nomination with the Libertarian Party of Texas.

Mr. Myers explained, “I cannot rest as long as the government continues to spread violence abroad, fatten greedy corporations at home, and assault the civil liberties that define us as Americans.”

John Jay knows that the time for freedom in America is now, and has already brought out the big guns for his Senate bid. The Myers campaign is honored to announce Wes Benedict as treasurer and fundraising director. Wes brings years of leadership and knowledge, along with an unwavering dedication to economic and personal liberties. Mr. Benedict achieved record breaking success as Executive Director of the Libertarian Party of Texas, and then brought additional growth to the party on a national level as Executive Director of the Libertarian National Committee. His expertise and John Jay’s charisma will make a formidable combination in this year’s Senate race.

John Jay Myers owns and operates ClearSky24, a screen printing and promotions business, and he recently opened The Free Man Cajun Cafe & Lounge in the Deep Ellum music district of Dallas.     A great candidate for the LP! I’ll try to send Mr. Myers a few bucks later in the cycle. The only downside is we scratch one more name of the list of good running mates for Gary Johnson.

    I completely forgot about those Ed Kless videos, apparently I was feeling a bit “relaxed”, I just about shot water out my nose watching them, some funny stuff in there.

    Thanks for the support everybody. Should be a fun and educational campaign, we raised over $1000 the first day we started, considering all I did was post a facebook link to our site, I thought that was a great day.

    Fixed it for ya. You have to remove all the line breaks, but make sure there’s two of them between one paragraph and the next.
