Constitution Party Seeks New Logo

This is also from the new newsletter.

Plans are underway to establish a new national logo! This is something we want to use not only for the national party, but something state parties can use and tweek to meet their needs. This will help us present a unified front when it comes to branding our product to the public. If you have ideas or are a graphic artist that would be willing to help us design something (as an inkind donation), please contact Audrey Queckboerner at [email protected]. Thanks!

…….. If they want to stick with the eagle, which is fine

[Lake: it is not, it is main line, establishment big government. It extolls the feds and other federalized anti constitution organizations. It says: we come not to praise big intrusions and their intrusion into individual lives —- (but) while shining a bright light on it’s prominent icon. It spot lights imperial Roma, Fascist Italy, and the worst of the American Experiment.]

…….. I like the buffalo the IAP uses better, but I think the Eagle speaks to the “patriotism” most CP people feel.

[Lake: I know you don’t like me, Trent, and that certainly is your privilege, but can’t you acknowledge that that the glorifying of the existing semi fascist establishment is part of the Dems, and GOP and CP third party attitude / problem? ]

[Lake: Teddy Roosevelt and the non D / R Bull Moose is on it’s 1912 centennial.]

    NF,

    A lot of the comments are facetious or at least partially so. Not sure whether that comes across;

Trading sex for marijuana and, no doubt, money.

    I support that.

  5. NewFederalist June 6, 2012

Wow! Posters here are more intolerant than I thought.

As a Libertarian, I’d favor two nude Mexican women passing a joint while crossing the Rio Grande

According to stereotype, no libertarian would share a joint. Not unless they shared in the cost of buying it.

  7. Common Tater June 6, 2012

The Constitution Party can used the same logo, just with a red circle and slash over it.

  8. Common Tater June 6, 2012

One of them should be a Middle Eastern woman and the Mexican one should be ripping her burqa off

  9. paulie June 6, 2012

…nude, except for bullet belts and full pistol holsters.

    OH NOES INVADERZ!!!!!

Oh, and perhaps something to convey the impression that they may be a little more than platonic friends.

Maybe the Libertarian Party’s logo could be a womb dripping with blood with a curette inside.

As a Libertarian, I’d favor two nude Mexican women passing a joint while crossing the Rio Grande 😛

@13: A for effort, but the Libertarians acknowledge that one can be pro choice or pro life and still Libertarian.

“How about a bible stepping on a face…forever?”

Maybe the Libertarian Party’s logo could be a womb dripping with blood with a curette inside.

Two can play at that game.

  13. langa June 5, 2012

How about a picture of the Constitution with the words “KING JAMES VERSION” stamped on it?

He made the elephant and jackass stick! He might have done the camel for the Prohibition Party as well.

  16. Trent Hill June 5, 2012

Im sure Nast would just suggest depicting the Irish as monkeys. Asshole.

  17. JT June 5, 2012

A flag with a cross in the middle.

  18. NewFederalist June 5, 2012

A North American Bison is good except that they were nearly extinct which may not bode well for a minor party symbol. The LP discussed a porcupine at one time because it is a fairly docile creature that keeps to itself but can inflict great pain on foes if attacked or provoked. Perhaps the CP should have a seance and try to contact Thomas Nast!

Swastika? Most of the older gentlemen in the CP either fought against the Germans themselves or had older brothers and dads that did.

Seriously not trolling is seriously trolling. Beware of the unsolicited denial.

Whatever they do, they need to think simple, not complex. If they want to stick with the eagle, which is fine IMO, they need to do a block figure. Think of the Republican elephant and the Democrat donkey. Both are simple and instantly recognizable.
