Robby Wells Update

There is a picture up on Robby Wells’ Facebook page of him and Ron Paul. It appears to be at some sort of gathering and is reported to have taken place in Columbia, South Carolina.

I did some sleuthing around the Internet and figured out the venue was this fundraiser for South Carolina State Senator Tom Davis.

    Well’s dry.

Robby Wells has no outreach, no ballot access, no party backing him and no resources. He’s such a long shot that you can’t even find him anywhere near the finishing line of the presidential race.

Added NLR parties category due to Reform Party run. Hope that’s OK.

I read almost every post on this site, but I didn’t even really know much about this guy Robby Wells. Other than the fact he was an ex-assistant college football coach running a ( what’s the word here? hmm: quixotic?) POTUS campaign. I finally figured I would find out some of his background. I see he was an assistant and eventual head coach at HBCUs, and he resigned for personal reasons but later sued claiming that he was fired for attempting to recruit white players ( or something like that). He received a $240,000 settlement and decided to run for POTUS. Maybe he should aim a little lower. Don’t really know anything about his beliefs/stands- even his website doesn’t say much. Though it hardly matters now. He’s not going to be on any ballots, is he? His current campaign makes as much sense to me as one of the losers in the LP race continuing to run for POTUS present-day as a Libertarian. What is Carl Person up to these days?

Not just anyone could be a blogger. Many people have been rejected, mostly by me. There IS a selection process.

Red–we always try to include info about how the news tidbit relates to third party politics. In the future, that’s a good standard to follow.

Sorry Thane. Perhaps I assumed too much. Robby Wells was first a candidate for the Reformed Party nomination, then the Constitution Party, and now the GOP. Search Robby Wells on this site.

If only this or the original post explained who Robby Wells were then one might be able to determine if this had anything to do with third party politics.

    Paulie @ 6: That’s good to know!

Or, you can always sign up here to post what you do think is important.

True for most people but not everyone. There are some people that either Trent or I, or both, would not want to be IPR bloggers.

ES: I’ve read your comment, and wondered if perhaps there might be some truth in it…and I’ve decided that if you don’t like this site, there are thousands of other sites you can go to. Or, you can always sign up here to post what you do think is important.

If you don’t like this website, then don’t come on here.

Extra Sauce can’t help Ogling IPR.

And I have to admit, IPR *is* pretty damn addictive….

It’s a love hate thing…which many of you understand all too well 🙂

ES, there are plenty of other sites on the internet. You are free to leave.

The people who “manage” the site have little to say about what individual bloggers post unless it violates editorial guidelines in some way.

I reported yesterday that Robby Wells said he was going to meet with Ron Paul. That’s news whethere you like it or not. This post was a follow-up on that. I guess I could have posted it in the other thread (I debated it), but that was a judgement call.

@1-If you don’t like this website, then don’t come on here. But quit complaining.

The problem here is that IPR has no basis for reporting such a story. So someone gets a photo with Ron Paul? Big deal!

IPR ownership has pretty much dug itself into a deep hole, and it may never get out again due to their ownership.

Contrived meaningless writings with no content are being sold as “news”, and the asses who own and manage the site are just that; asses.

There may never be any evolution as long as the current maintainers of this site have any influence on the content. But there will be a continual supply of bad-breathed opinionated old fart, blowing wind back and forth.

They are simply self-righteous and arrogant fools reporting on other like-minded primates.
