Mark Shea on Catholic Voting Ethics

In the post below, I wrote “Reconstructionists similar to DeMar have been the most likely to make the case for a Christian voting ethic that precludes simple lesser of two evils considerations.” This is true among Protestants. I should add that Catholics have a very long tradition of making Christian ethical arguments about voting, most famously when it comes to abortion, but otherwise as well. His logic tends to lead to the rejection of the two major party candidates which is why it may be of interests to IPR readers.
