Dear Friend:
Thanks to your generous support and volunteering in the campaigns of more than 150 Constitution Party candidates, I’m delighted to give you some of the early results.
In Missouri, a statewide candidate must win two percent for the our party to remain of the ballot for the next four years. Rodney Farthing was our nominee for State Auditor. Unfortunately, Rodney had a stroke (he’s better now), but he still won seven percent of the vote without campaigning. Our fellow citizens are hungry for alternatives at the ballot box.
Christian Fioravanti, the Constitution Party’s bright young newcomer from northern Idaho, earned 35 percent of the vote in his first time race against an entrenched incumbent. Ray Writz, our nominee for a State Senate seat, received 25 percent of the vote.
In South Dakota, our candidate for Secretary of State, Lori Stacey, earned over 10,000 votes; Jennifer Young, running for the same office in Wyoming, received 19,000 votes; and Shaun Crowell of Tennessee earned more than 26,000 votes in his race for Governor.
The Constitution Party can no longer be ignored. Our platform and the caliber of candidates we offer are attracting more and more votes. I’m proud of what we accomplished this year, and I know you are too.
You can see just about all the election results at our website. Karen Murray, a member of the National Executive Committee, is tracking down all the tabulations. No easy job.
One big warning about the election aftermath however. Don’t be fooled by media reports that “conservative” Republicans won and now big changes are coming. One recent news analysis of the election was headlined, “Top Republicans: Get ready to make deals;” another asserted, “How’d the GOP Win? By Running Left;” and one flat out claimed the election was actually A Victory for the Left” (the article stated that “Republicans won, to a surprising extent, by embracing ideas and standards that came from the left.”)
More selling out of American sovereignty by international trade deals and more interventions into foreign wars are on the GOP agenda. Obamacare? House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy says he would not press for a congressional vote on repealing it until “we have the ability to replace it” with some other health care policy “at the same time.”
Tweaking the federal government is not what voters are looking for. Our Constitution Party candidates prove that.
I urge you to invest now in the Constitution Party. Our financial situation is worrisome right after this election. Your gift of $25, $50, or $75 will be put to use right away. We need to start planning ahead for ballot access drives in 2015 and the all-important Presidential contest in 2016 Only your investment, be it $20 or $200 or even $2000 will help us grow.

I used to be Paleoconservative, but dealing with all those Hyper-Calvinists and incompetent theocrats in the CP, and even the National IAP, has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Libertarianism is the best alternative to socialism and the two-party system in this Country.
Wished I realized it sooner. Oh well.
And you want to use government force to force your concept of morality on those who don’t share it?
I can best be described as a paleo-conservative. America is on the wrong path both morally and governmentally.
Oh, and they technically gained and lost ballot access in Alaska in the same year because their gubernatorial candidate that they got on the ballot failed to get 3%.
That Ohio election law I highly doubt is going to get repealed, and it already got the judicial ok to go into effect for 2016.
If you think that America should be a Theonomy, along with mixing politics and religious fundamentalism, then certainly join up with the CP.

The have not ever had ballot access in Alaska so that is not included in the states the CP lost.They could win the lawsuit in Ohio,so that is not included in the four states listed.So in reality they only lost two states.I guess that the Republican elections effected the party.I am still thinking about registering for the CP.

Funny, they failed to mentioned that they still have not paid the ballot access petitioners who got ripped off on Constitution Party petition drives in 2012.

BTW, I have finally re-registered to the Libertarian Party; I may not agree with every issue with the LP, but they are the most feasible and best organized third party out there, nationally, that doesn’t have a religious extremist problem that the CP, or the National IAP, does; all that drama on the constitutionalist end that especially was reported here has indeed pushed me into American Libertarianism.
However, I’m still going to be one of the conservative/constitutional persuasion.
