The Darryl W. Perry for Governor campaign is running a FUN(d)Drive from January 25 (Lunar New Year) to February 11 (the 42nd day of the year). Anyone who contributes to the campaign during these 18 days will receive a PORC token bonus.

Perry is asking people to donate in increments of 42 (eg $4.20, $42, $420 or $4,200), to help him celebrate his 42nd birthday. The goal of the FUN(d)Drive is to raise $12,600. This will allow the campaign to buy yard signs, t-shirts, buttons, bumper stickers, and other campaign swag; and gather the 3,000 valid petitions required to be placed on the general election ballot.

Anything you can give to help the campaign is much appreciated. If you are unable to make a financial contribution, you can still help by collecting ballot access petitions. Each ballot access signature you gather as a volunteer is worth $3 to $5 to the campaign, because that’s one less signature we need to pay a professional petitioner to gather and a professional fundraiser commission on the funds to pay the petitioner.

Darryl W. Perry has spent most of his adult life as an advocate & activist for peace and liberty.

The color isn’t appealing, but the whole banner could do with a redesign. I just hope this time around DWP loses the gigantic lapel littered with pins.

I have never been a fan of Daryl Perry. He always comes across as creepy to me, but other than lower taxes, I support the issues listed in the above blurb.

Never put yellow on a white background.

My guess is that it was not originally on a white background.

    I thought he subscribed. …

What do you mean subscribed? He has commented here plenty of times, but that’s no guarantee he’ll read comments on any particular article whether he is the subject of it or not.

IPR comments are an open forum. They are not necessarily read by either the IPR author/reposter (and certainly not necessarily addressed to him or her), nor should they be presumed to be read by the subject of the article; they may or may not be.

Good for Darryl! I like the fact that he is NOT using the current LP logo of a torch with Donald Trump’s hairpiece on it!

Good luck. In the posting of your ad, I would change from the color yellow, it is hard on the eyes. Try red or ocean blue lettering and graphics. Never put yellow on a white background. It could work on a black background. You need constrast.
