The Libertarian Party of West Virginia plans to host its annual state convention later in March, according to recent commentary made by the organization on social media.
While official news about the event has not been posted on the Libertarian Party of West Virginia’s website, the party mentioned on social media platform X that it plans to convene on March 16, 2024, in the community of Morgantown, West Virginia. The convention is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM EST.

No agenda or specific information is available, as the party stated in a follow-up response that it’s still working out further details. However, in early December, the Libertarian Party of West Virginia announced that it had selected Erika Kolenich as its gubernatorial nominee for the 2024 election cycle.
Kolenich previously ran as the Libertarian Party of West Virginia’s gubernatorial nominee in the 2020 election cycle. During that time, she competed against three ballot-qualified candidates and several write-in candidates, coming in third place with 2.9% of the total vote.
