Wisconsin Libertarians to Gather for Annual State Convention in Madison

The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin will convene in Madison for its 51st annual state convention later this week. The convention will run from April 12 to April 14 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Madison East.

“Get ready for a weekend filled with engaging discussions, networking opportunities, and inspiring activism,” the party states on its website. “Our convention aims to bring together passionate individuals who share a common interest in setting the world free.”

According to information distributed by the party on its website and over social media, the convention will feature discussions, networking opportunities, and other chances to engage in libertarian activism. The Saturday portion will also include a dinner buffet and keynote panel, although the party has yet to disclose specific speakers.

Additionally, voting members will select delegates to represent the party at the upcoming Libertarian National Convention in Washington, D.C., in May.

Tickets are required for individuals interested in attending the buffet and speaker portions of the convention. However, the business portion of the event is free and open to the public. Readers can find more information on the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin website.
