The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania announced the date and location of its 2025 annual convention over the weekend, confirming that it will take place from late February into early March. A formal agenda has yet to be published.
“Join us for the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania’s 2025 Annual Convention. This event will feature dynamic speakers, important party business, and opportunities to connect with liberty-minded individuals from across the state,” the party stated in a notice on Sunday.
The convention is scheduled for February 28 to March 2, 2025, at the Marriott Hotel in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. Past conventions have required all delegates wishing to participate in the business meeting portion of the weekend to be party members for at least 90 days prior to the convention. The business session of the convention will formally begin on Saturday morning.
While the agenda has not yet been published, the party has announced it will release additional details on its convention website as the event approaches.
This year’s convention took place in March around the same weekend and featured speeches by then-Libertarian National Committee member David Benner, National Secretary Caryn Ann Harlos, and Libertarian Party of New York activist Larry Sharpe. The event included breakfast and dinner banquets, a silent auction, and a presidential debate between eight candidates vying for the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination at the time, which was also moderated by Sharpe.
Can they even still afford the Marriott? Notice how the LP never holds conventions at economical venues. It’s always Marriott, or Hilton, or Hyatt, etc.
