Constitution Party Seeks Submissions for New Logo Design

The Constitution Party recently announced that it is seeking a new logo and is inviting supporters and the general public to submit original designs featuring the party’s traditional eagle motif. The national party has used its current branding since 2017.

According to a statement from the party, submissions will first be reviewed by the Constitution Party Executive Committee. Designs that receive committee approval will then advance to a vote by the Constitution Party National Committee. The selected logo will serve as the party’s official branding for its website, literature, and merchandise, and it will also be made available to state affiliates.

The party emphasized that this is not a contest, meaning no prizes will be awarded. All designs must be original works and free of trademarks, registrations, or copyrights. Participants must also submit a release form granting the Constitution Party ownership of the logo, including the right to file for trademark registration under the organization’s name.

Submissions, along with the completed release form, can be sent via email or mailed directly to the party’s official address in Erie, Pennsylvania. The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2025.

There was nothing wrong with their original logo.

However, IF the party logo is in need of a refresh just like the website… why keep the eagle? Why not a totally fresh start?

Party logo seems a rather minor point given the steps backwards the party has taken in the past two presidential elections. Ballot access should be the top priority along with party building from the ground up.

What’s wrong with the current logo? Too similar to that of the Reform Party? No, they changed theirs to a much less handsome one sans eagle last September already, so that can’t be it. But why then?

Why? It’s one of their lone strongpoints.
