Q & A With Tim Fasano, Nevada IAP Candidate for Congress

Cody sends this  article along also. It is a Q & A with Tim Fasano conducted by the Reno Gazette-Journal.

Question: What can be done in Congress to ease the rancor between Democrats and Republicans to accomplish more for constituents?

Answer: Easy! We must remove the influence of money from lobbyists and special interests from the arena of politics. This would greatly improve the level of accountability towards the constituents of any elected official. With regard to the Senate members, again easy, if combined with the above, repeal the 17th Amendment. Let the states decide if they want the people to choose their senate representation. Otherwise, allow the state legislatures to decide who the senator(s) will be. The founders called it “federalism.”

HI LG – just an FYI that the link attached to your name isn’t working right now…

She put a comma instead of a period. If you look at the url it is pretty easy/obvious to fix, and then it works.
