Kansas Reform Party moves to place Chuck Baldwin on the ballot

Richard Winger reports over at Ballot Access News.

The ballot-qualified Kansas Reform Party held its state convention back on May 31, and nominated candidates for office, including presidential electors pledged to Chuck Baldwin for president. On June 27, the party turned in the paperwork for these nominations.

The Kansas Secretary of State has hinted that he won’t allow the party to do this. He has not ruled definitively, however. Now that the party has finalized its choice, he will need to either honor the nominations, or explain precisely what provision of Kansas law purports to tell the party that it cannot nominate the presidential candidate of the Constitution Party.

Winger goes on the cover the obvious arguements against the Kansas Secretary of State.

In 1980, the American Party of Kansas was allowed to nominate Frank Shelton for president, even though the national convention of the American Party had chosen Percy Greaves. Also, in 1968, the Conservative Party of Kansas was permitted to nominate George Wallace as its presidential candidate, even though the Conservative Party was not affiliated with George Wallace’s American (also called American Independent) Party.

If the Secretary of State allows this to happen, it will be the 2nd balllot-line Chuck Baldwin had recieved from a party unaffilliated with the Constitution Party.

Yes, they were unpatriotic, and they were right. Patriotism is a refuge for bullies and scoundrels. It is much like the kids in high school who would beat up anyone wearing one of the colors of one of the opposing teams on game day.

“Patriotism is vigilance in protecting and preserving the US Constitution from all who would pervert or overthrow it, or in any way diminish our many rights, liberties, or sovereignties. ”

Many of the anti-federalists, such as Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and Thomas Paine, wanted to overthrow the Constitution just after it was put in place. Were they unpatriotic?

Allow me to start with this definition: Patriotism is not blind subservience to government, nor loyalty to a particular leader or party. Patriotism is vigilance in protecting and preserving the US Constitution from all who would pervert or overthrow it, or in any way diminish our many rights, liberties, or sovereignties.

For decades, guardians of the Constitution have successfully manipulated our laws to: Violate the Founder’s intent; Remove their Safeguards; Upset the balance of powers; Usurp power; Advance tyranny; Operate above or outside the law; Bring the people under an insurmountable national debt through fiscal irresponsibility; Minimize or threaten the principles of freedom, independence, and sovereignty; Minimize the power or control of the people over government; Ignore, distort, chip away at, or infringe upon the God-given and unalienable rights of the people; Legalize and promote principles of Socialism, Marxism, Communism and Secular Humanism; Avoid defending our borders from foreign invasion; Discredit, dismantle, disregard, circumvent, or suspend the US Constitution.

The fact that attacks upon the Constitution have continued unimpeded for many decades implies that we cannot look to the federal government for self-correction. Although blatantly unconstitutional, the advancement of tyranny and the loss of our rights are exactly what they want us to have.

These attacks have had unimpeded success for one primary reason … there is no official definition of what it means to be a domestic enemy as referred to in Oaths of Citizenship, Military Oaths and Oaths of Office. (And, Congress will neither create nor officially approve such a definition due to self-incrimination, fear of job loss, or threats of retaliation.) Yet within the Oath lies the greatest key to our defense:

Oaths (to defend the US Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic) are aimed not at enemies in general, but are aimed specifically at enemies of the Constitution itself. Who are in a better position to threaten or destroy it than its elected or appointed guardians? … No one else has access to it.

From that perspective comes the second and most valuable definition: Domestic Enemies are guardians of the Constitution (regardless of status or position, past or present) who fail to preserve, protect, honor or defend it; or, whose manipulation of the law threatens the function, scope, application or impact of the Constitution, or in any way violates the Founders’ intent for it. (The federal government will not adopt it, but every State and every Patriot ought to as the Key for defeating enemies within.)

America, and all the hope she stands for, will not survive much longer if domestic enemies of the Constitution are allowed to gain full control of government.

The Second Amendment is our strongest deterrent against government tyranny. Therefore, to advance tyranny, in the near future our enemies will pass laws to make possession of firearms illegal. Please note: Every sponsor and supporter of such unconstitutional laws have by that very deed (and by this definition) identified themselves as domestic enemies, and should be prosecuted as such.

As Thomas Jefferson said, “The people … are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.” So what can we the people do? Get as many Patriots as possible promoting the above concepts and definitions; Promote a nation-wide outcry for a thorough purging of domestic enemies until they are all identified, investigated, prosecuted and defeated (the incriminating evidence exists); Press hard enough that we get media support; Pressure each Governor to conduct Senate Investigations of federal representatives from their respective States which have violated their Oaths of Office (with the reminder that the Governors themselves took an Oath to defend against all enemies of the Constitution, regardless of rank or jurisdiction … so any failure to now defend it constitutes aiding and abetting the enemy, and violates their own Oath).

Some treasonous guardians will claim immunity. But that is empty manipulation, since their new anti-Constitution laws are not somehow superior to the Supreme Law of the Land. No one, especially enemies of the Constitution, can ever be above the law.

Let every Patriot and every State get involved. Let every Oath be honored. Let our nation adopt an attitude of “Zero tolerance for domestic enemies”. Let the purging of domestic enemies begin, and continue unimpeded until our Constitutional Republic is fully restored! Together we can do it!

God Bless America, and our combined efforts to keep her free.

    Respectfully,

Do like I and others [Richard Winger] did in
January 2005 with California’s derailing of the

Please take Don’s advice and contact the KS SoS and request that he honour the Reform Party’s wishes. Use the examples listed it you like.

It he blocks this I, will be back and list KS media where we can EMBARRASS the thug in the media. He would deserve it!
