The American Prospect has a long article about the Working Families Party and its national director, Dan Cantor. See it here. The story says the party will expand into the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania soon. The story also says that the party won’t necessarily try to get on the ballot under its own name in the future.
Damn elitists. How about an Unemployed Singles party for the have-nots among us?

WFP aren’t socialist, or Left. They are Democrats, The article makes it clear. They are Keynesians. Cantor claims to be a social democrat, but only as far as it benefits the Democratic Party. I think the WFP os a grift, a vehicle for syphoning of socialist votes into the cess pool of the Democratic Party. It seems to me that the WFP are really the endemy, lapdogs for the Democrats. Look at de Blasio. All this hoopla abt him being a progressive etc. De Blasio was Hillary Clinton’s senatorial campaign manager. Bill Clinton swore in de Blasio. And the WFP were all over Clinton for Senate.
