‘The American Freedom Party supports the right to keep and bear arms,’ the AFP’s website proclaims, ‘Emancipate yourself from the dinosaur Democrat and Republican parties. Join a National Party that puts America First, the American Freedom Party.’
Illustrating that the AFP isn’t a single-issue party, their website describes their efforts writing, ‘Americans believed “It can’t happen here.” Well, it can and it has. The United States has become unrecognizable. An unaccountable government continues to grow by leaps and bounds and is becoming a high-tech surveillance police state.’

With growing dissatisfaction among the public, the American Freedom Party has gone on the offensive over the past two years. Campaign materials appeal to disenfranchised voters by writing, ‘The Democrats and Republicans are far more alike than they are different. Both take turns sharing the spoils of power while shutting out alternative political parties. The vast majority of Americans no longer have leaders that represent their interests. It’s time to break up the Democrat-Republican monopoly and return America to Americans. It’s time to regain our freedom by supporting the American Freedom Party!’
Demonstrating that the AFP’s message is finding a receptive audience, a party-supported political rally and demonstration was held in Knoxville, TN just this weekend. While most political parties only campaign during election season or for a specific candidate, the American Freedom Party shows its grassroots experience by recruiting, rallying and ringing doorbells every day of the year. The same weekend, their Texas affiliate joined with 30 other political organizations in the Lone Star State, including both black and white conservative groups, and demonstrated together on behalf of liberty and freedom.
