From Ballot Access News:

The number of registered voters in the United States, in the 30 states (plus D.C.) that have registration by party, declined by 1,516,272 between November 2012 and March 2014. Nevertheless, during this period Libertarian registration in those states increased 11.4%. The registration total for all other nationally-organized parties declined during that period. The number of voters who are independent or who are registered in miscellaneous parties increased .7% during that period.

The April 1, 2014 printed Ballot Access News will include a chart showing the number of voters in each party, and the number registered as independents or in miscellaneous designations, by state. All of the data is from January, February, or March 2014, except that data from New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania is not available for 2014, so it is from 2013.

Great news on LP voter registrations. Hopefully we will find ways to turn this into more active support nationwide.

Please confine any and all discussion of “FFF movement” to the thread about that topic.

  3. It had a MySpace page but it disappeared. I believe many people have been following. One guy from Arkansas (I think his name was Jake) talked about how he wanted to run for president as a functional candidate. Jim Gray is a sympathizer, but he is a loser. I have been visited in dreams by multiple people expressing their support such as Jim Burns and John Lennon. I can tell Marianne Williamson is a sympathizer based on the language she uses.

CLC; has the FFF movement had any presence outside of IPR? If so, what exactly?

Florida grew by 20% during that period. Up to 24,000 voters now.

As of March 10, 2014 there were 46,233 registered Libertarians on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Which state affiliate had the largest increase in voter registration with the LP? Aso, which state had the largest increase in national LP Membership in the past two years?

Colorado is well over 26,000 registered Libertarians and growing fast.

In DC Libertarian voter registration has increased from 179 in November 2013 to 240 in March 2014. The Board of Elections only printed voter registration forms including Libertarian in March 2013, after the party earned permanent ballot status in November 2012. It seems to be a fairly steady 15-20 new registrants monthly, though we are hoping that will increase since we are running 8 candidates.
